Review: “The Keeper of Lost Causes” is a solid, well-crafted Danish crime thriller. The characters are compelling, the acting is fantastic, and the story’s pacing keeps the viewer thoroughly entertained. Frank and I have not read the Department Q series by Jussi Adler-Olsen, so we can make no claims as to the accuracy of the novel’s adaptation to film; we do, however, attest that the film itself has given us more than a few good reasons to pick up the novel, as well as a desire to delve further into the series. If you enjoy a good cold case story, you should definitely check out this movie.
